December 10
th – We spent a month in
Iowa City
with Andrea while she was hospitalized and another month in
Cedar
Falls after she got home before heading to
Green Valley
for the winter on November 9
th. We had the Family gathering the
weekend before at the “Barn”. Angela and Ty were the gracious hosts.
It has been above normal temps here since we got here and we love it. We
have played so much Pickleball that my shoulder is sore and I’m trying to play
left handed – works fine except the serves. We have been busy most days and
seem to have to make choices on what events or festivals to attend as there are
many in the surrounding cities as well as here going on at the same time. Last
Friday we went to
Tucson
for the
4th Ave
Street Fair during the day and on to Tubac that evening for the Christmas
Luminaries celebration. It was very nice and the Christmas music was fabulous.
We have been to car shows, gourd festivals, many farmers markets and even a
chili cookoff (hot stuff down here)!
