May Day, May day – does anybody do the May baskets anymore??

Cactus blooms in the shape of a cross on Good Friday!

We did our last small trip with the motorhome with my sister Pat and husband Mike just before they headed back to Wisconsin. We all spent a few days in Willcox, AZ and explored the White Mountains around Safford and hiked the Cochise Stronghold and explored the old mining town of Pearce – it was big after the mines near Tombstone died out but now has a population of 15…

They wasted a lot of 25MPH signs...

Watch that first step

We found a little shop where they raise goats and make some neat soaps, creams, lotions, etc. from them and they had two new baby groups some less that a week old.

We are really enjoying the sights, sounds and smells of the desert right now but are counting down the last week before making our way back to Iowa for the summer.

Mesquite blooms, baby quail everywhere, our roses are blooming for the second time!
