Friday August 17^th – Not quite as early start time but we got a walk first. Lots of sunflowers and sorghum  for the first hour or so – nice contrasts. The lack of wind was quite pleasant until about lunch time. Some of the mountain valleys had some pretty good gusts. Made it to Sheridan, WY. We either gained or lost an hour today so we are in Mountain Time Zone now. After an overnight 48 degrees it climbed to 85 – plenty warm for those big climbs…
