Glacier Ice is Blue because it is so compressed this color is caused by the absorption of both red and yellow light (leaving light at the blue end of the visible light spectrum).

Lunch break along the Hwy 101
September 12th – The morning walk was awesome with the view of snow capped Mountains – (actually Glacier covered) across the Puget Sound most of the time. We took Lexi to the beach for some fetch in that cold water before starting our tour of Port Townsend. They have many buildings on the National Historic Register from the 1880’s and 1890’s, and one church has an Organ that is absolutely gorgeous that is 125 years old – the Church is 140. we stopped for lunch up on the 3rd floor outdoor deck over the water – lots of sailboats and a very busy Ferry from Whidbey Island and all the mountains.

Otters playing and eating

September 11th – We did our last berry picking here before moving up the coast on the scenic Hwy 101. We are near Sequim, WA and are right next to the Pickleball court. Now all we need is time to play and more players.
