September 14th – We walked through the neighborhood to the north of the campground. It has view of the water or are right on the water and most have airplane garages and a runway down the middle. We found a very steep road down to the water (the Strait of Juan de Fuca) and wondering how we would make it back up. Once down there we were pretty sure that with the low tide we could walk to the public ramp we were at a couple days ago. Oh, good. Now we just have to walk up the pretty darn steep road. Deer are everywhere around here – Black Tail instead of White Tail – a little smaller. After church we headed to a restaurant that was in several books or articles about Sequim. The 3 Crabs – we were looking forward to it. The GPS took us right to the address – BUT… all that was left was the foundation. Now we are just hoping the Crab place that was closed yesterday would be open today. Oh yeah. And with a little instruction two of them went home with us. After a little Google search while the water came to a boil we had everything ready. Tasty, tasty and even some leftovers – crab cakes tomorrow.
